WebI was honoured to rise in the House of Commons today to draw attention to the Bytown Gunners, now called the 30th Field Regiment. I am proud that my family's history is linked to the 30th Field: I, my great uncle, my father, brother, two nephews, and my son have served, and my daughter is currently a Captain in the Regiment. In 2013, the regiment officially established and had certified, a regimental museum called The Bytown Gunners Firepower Museum. Since that time, this museum has continued to develop into a significant OMMC military museum open to the general public based upon reservations.
