All of the house line 1 jacks will have the Ooma dialtone. The house line 2 jacks will have the DSL signal and the associated dialtone if it hasn't been canceled. WebADSL filters are a type of low-pass filter - they allow lower frequencies (voice/phone) through, but block higher frequencies (data/modem) above some cutoff point. The cutoff frequency depends on the circuit design inside the filter.
